Milou and the Donkeys
Milou decided he wanted to play with Sesame. Sesame got scared.
Just so you don't get confused, these are miniature donkeys. You might think that Milou looks big in these pictures because he is not that much smaller than the donkeys but keep in mind that when I am standing up and the donkeys are standing up straight next to me, the top of their heads goes up to about my elbow...

Ursina just helped me learn that my camera has a macro function!! Who knew???
48 years ago today, May 17, 1957, my dad went to his very first baseball game. To me, thinking about such things is fascinating

Milou the baby Westie
My friend got a baby Westie and his name is Milou (MEE-loo, after the dog in the french Tin Tin books). He's about 12 or 13 weeks old now and he is the fluffiest, most energetic, cutest thing I've ever seen and he's absolutely adorable and SO small!! (see #4). He is so friendly and follows everyone around and "frolics" through the short grass which I imagine seems quite tall to him... He loves playing outside and rolling in the grass and digging holes and walking happily towards anything that is shiny. He likes tennis balls but doesn't quite understand that he's supposed to follow it after you throw it for him... he just stares at it and then stares back at you as if to say "Great. What am I supposed to do now?"

Inside the Piano
These are the insides of the piano in the chapel. My hand wasn't very steady and I didn't want to use a flash so they're a tiny bit blurry. My camera also doesn't have that much zoom capability so when I try to get in really close to something, it also gets blurry. This is why I think I might want another camera. I really like the Konica Minolta Maxxum 7D but it's also a little pricey... It does have the great anti-shake feature that I think could really help me a lot. The Canon Digital Rebel XT looks pretty good as well. I really think I want a digital SLR but I also like how I can fit a compact into my purse and take it everywhere with me incase I have a photo emergency. This month's issue of PCPhoto focuses on the SLR vs. the compact which is quite intersting.
I went over to my friend's house after school on Friday to rewatch the double-header OC extravaganza. While we were still inside of the school, I called shotgun, only to discover that I was the only one who was actually traveling in the car with her besides her sister so it was kind of pointless. But upon reviewing a website called Shotgun Guide, I have since learned the official rules of calling shotgun and have found that had I actually needed to call shotgun, my claim would have become null and void seeing as I was still inside of a building which, according to the shotgun rules, cancels out the call. The rules are so funny and I definitely suggest you check them out before you unwittingly commit a horrible shotgun-calling violation...
On a totally separate note, I really want a fisheye lens. Fortunately, since my camera is from 1978, the parts are really cheap and I can get a lens off ebay for like $10... it's super exciting

Still More from the Chapel
These pictures are once again from the chapel. These might be my favorite ones because I like the lighting and how soft and peaceful they look. I was also experimenting with depth of field which is always fun. I'm not sure which one is my favorite, though... What do you think?
P.S. Please enlarge because it's really hard to see when they're small.

.e.n.l. --Banner-- .a.r.g.e.

Sorry it took me a little while to post again... I keep having brain lapses where I visit fotopages every day but I blatanly forget to update my own page.
This is our school banner that is in the Chapel from an interesting angle.
I'm so stressed out... I have to read so much for English class for friday and have an entire paper done for monday. For physics I have 2 projects do on monday and test corrections due friday. I have a Calculus AP next tuesday and a Statistics final sometime next week AND a Social Justice test tomorrow. And it's 7:00 and I haven't started ANY of it. It's like I have so much work that I don't even know where to start and just kind of sit and don't do anything for a while. At least American Idol is on tonight...
Graduation is coming up and the more I think about it the more sad I get. I'm so sad to be leaving all my friends and teachers and I go back and forth between wanting to go to college and not. I can't believe I'm finally a senior. Time seems to pass so quickly. I remember crying on the 3rd day of 9th grade because I was so scared to be in highschool. Now I'm crying because I don't want to leave

Vergröern Sie dieses bitte!

So it was Instrumental Club day at school and I was waiting for the pizza to be delivered and my friend who usually waits with me was absent We usually sit in the Chapel and play piano and make up stupid songs and just talk about life... But she wasn't there and luckily I had my other friend with me (my camera!) so I was able to photograph our lovely chapel.
When I took this picture of the prayer book, I didn't even notice that it had anything about Pope John Paul II, I just thought the ribbon looked pretty I might call it a mistake but my photo teacher calls it "serendipity."
Ursina, how's my German??

More Senior Skip Day
Senior Skip day was great. We went to today show! (Did you see our neon green shirts on TV??) then on a Sex-and-the-City-themed Scavenger Hunt where my team actually won!! And no one on our team had ever watched the show before! We didn't actually win anything... we just won the satisfaction of knowing that we won... exciting. I walked around with my friend a little bit and went to Central Park (for the first time!) We were also harassed by horsey-ride people and someone who wanted to draw our portrait and screamed at me as I said no and walked away...
I'm still sick! I came home from school today at 11:15 and I slept until 5...
